SPECIALIST NEURODIVERSITY EDUCATION

I offer a range of professional development for health, care and support professionals.

+ design and deliver lively, relatable inclusion trainings and education sessions on neurodiversity in the workplace.

For health, care and support professionals

I offer webinars and in-person workshop sessions on The Neurodivergent Perspective in Practice for health and care professionals. These sessions are designed to meet your unique needs.

My sessions are dynamic, interactive and memorable. In a standard session we’ll bust a few myths, learn how to spot neurodivergence in the wild, establish strength-based approaches and explore ideas for tools to scaffold clients into their best lives. Key concepts are brought to life with relatable case studies.

Participants are provided with customised resource packs and recommendations for continued learning.

“It’s vital that nurses, support & social workers, doctors and mental health practitioners understand the different ways neurodivergence manifests. To be ignorant of a chunk of the population’s needs is hugely neglectful of any professional who works with people. In my work I am witness to how neurodivergent clients are further traumatised by lack of understanding around Autism, ADHD, FASD and other neurodivergence. This is both unnecessary and heartbreaking.”

Anissa is a refreshing and dynamic presenter. She engaged the students by acknowledging them as individuals and used real stories (including her own lived experience) to capture their attention and reinforce the importance of learning around neurodiversity. Students were enthralled and left having made excellent learning connections that will enhance their future social work practice. Thank you Anissa!
