Retreats & Workshops

Neurodivergent nervous systems and the practices that support our wellbeing are different. Wild of Brain events are designed with our uniqueness and needs in mind.

Autistic, ADHDifferent or otherwise neurodivergent, self-identified or diagnosed, all welcome.

Run by experienced retreat facilitator and neurodivergent specialist coach, Anissa Ljanta, author of the book, Wild of Brain.  For those who don’t know me, my approach is: strength-based, trauma informed, whole brained, neuro-informed and affirming.

Sliding scale and discounted price for WINZ, students or Community Service Card holders.

Please get in touch if price is prohibitive, there may be sponsored spaces. Folks with disposable income can gift a place to others who are financially disadvantaged.

Participants are welcome to have a free connection call to ask questions, share sensory needs and help bridge into events.

Wild of Brain events are proudly queer, trans and all-gender friendly spaces.

The sliding scale explained

Many neurodivergent and disabled folks are financially disadvantaged. To make Wild of Brain events and coaching more accessible, I use a sliding scale for session fees and workshop/retreat participation. It’s a trust-based system. Here’s how it works:

The middle to top of the sliding scale are folks who go to the dentist, don’t cry when they grocery shop or wonder how they will pay for their car’s WOF/warrant of fitness. For example,

The pricier end of the scale: for those in full-time paid work, those earning $50 an hour and over, those who are privileged to own their own home, have savings/retirement/investment funds, will inherit wealth, double income households etc.

The middle of the sliding scale: for those financially okay.
The other end of the sliding scale: for those who can choose to invest in their wellbeing without trading out basic life expenses.

PLUS. Each event has a special price: for those with WINZ, students or Community Service Card holders.

If cost is prohibitive please let me know, there may be sponsored places available.

I trust you to decide where you sit on the sliding scale.

(Bear in mind that I am a financially disadvantaged disabled single mama working to support our neurodivergent communities)

Bookings are confirmed on receipt of payment.

Email with directions, parking & venue information, with supporting photos, sent as confirmation.

Cancellations accepted up until 48 hours before start of events. Refunds are not made after this time unless there is a waiting list and someone else takes that space. There is a $20 non-refundable admin fee.
